Spin’s First Participation in the Philippine Elections.

Today I took part in our country’s elections for the very first time.

If I had not missed the registration back in 2004, I would have been able to vote at that time, when I was just 18.

Although I arrived at the school at a time which I considered as “early”, I took a number and I was 173rd on the line. It was number 70′s turn to vote. So I went back home and waited. Two hours after, when I got back, I was led into the room where I filled out my ballot.

It was a quick experience yet very meaningful. I voted for the one whom I thought was the best and most deserving person to rule our country. Whoever wins this race, may he, whom the majority has chosen, be able to serve his fellowmen well, under the guide of the Good Lord.
